This weather station is privately owned and operated. It is not affiliated with the city of Apache Junction, AZ. The data on this site should not be used to base important decisions that could result in harm to people or property.
The station is powered by an Acurite 01036 color weather station with the 5 in 1 sensor which has been modified for external power and constantly running aspirator fan . The station consists of an anemometer, a rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible. The data is collected every 18 seconds and this site is updated every 20 seconds by the following hardware and software.
